Benefits: Regular employees assigned a position of at least 30 hours per week qualify for employer paid benefits, on a prorated share basis, based on full time equivalency. Annual benefit cap in the amount of $13,000. Benefits may include: medical, prescription, dental, and vision for employee and all eligible dependents, based on the Tier coverage selected by the employee. Employee out of pocket contribution amount will vary based on the selection. The employee may purchase coverage through a 125 cafeteria plan. Employer paid term life insurance for employee only. Paid vacation and holidays in accordance with the Lake County Office of Education Personnel Policies - Series 4000. (see Board Policies at: www.lakecoe.org) Employee will be a member of the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS) LCOE does not participate in the Social Security system.Work office location: Hance Education Center located at 1510 Argonaut Road in Lakeport, California. This position will administratively support the Adult Education and Teach Lake County Programs through Educational Services.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
